Romanistan

Romanistan is a multidisciplinary performance in which theatre, music and visual art reinforce each other. Creators Giovanni Brand, Roland Farkas and Jan van Est show how the invisible legacy of the Roma people lives on in their bodies, between taboos and rules from within and stigmatisation and discrimination from without. It is a plea to see history not as the past, but as a living, current story. Come and listen to a new generation seeking recognition without denying their identity.
